	OSRT Grants! The Ohio Society of Radiologic Technologists will be awarding $250.00 for four educational grants in 2008. Awards will be announced at the OSRT Annual Meeting in April, 2008. Three grants will be awarded to students technologists and one to a registered technologist. Grants are awarded on the basis of merit, academic ability and demonstrated financial need. The OSRT is announcing the *Francine Todd Memorial Occupational Radiation Safety and Protection Grant* . The purpose of this grant is to develop knowledge through investigation and/or research, which can be used to minimize or prevent occupational radiation exposure by the application of a new or improved procedure, method, technique, system or education. 		Radiologist Assistnats Licensure Passes Ohio COngres! SB 229 Radiologist Assistants Licensure of radiologist assistants passed the Ohio House by a vote of 94-1. The Senate concurred in House amendments by a vote of 31-0. The bill will now be presented to the Governor for his approval.
