The Ohio Society of Radiologic Technologists (OSRT), in partnership with Sinclair Community College (SCC), offers a new
learning mechanism to earn CE credits anytime, anyplace! From home or from work, Online CE is just a click of a mouse away!
OSRT members can even earn FREE CE! How do Ohio RTs earn free CE? In 2001, Dayton-based, Sinclair Community
College established a strategic partnership with the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) to develop a Web-based CE opportunity for RTs across the country. The site currently offers 30 online professional
development modules--all approved Category A credits. New modules are routinely added, so check the site often for new postings.As of March 1, 2002, OSRT created a similar partnership with SCC. The
OSRT-SCC partnership provides the following opportunities:
free CE
session for every 5 sessions completed using the SCC Online CE site.
One free, first-year membership in OSRT for
any Ohio RT who is not a current member of OSRT. To qualify for the free first-year membership, participating Ohio RTs must complete at least 5 Online CE modules using the SCC site.
How does it work for OSRT Members?
Current OSRT members using the Online CE site will receive
1 free CE module
for every 5 modules completed after the effective date of March 1, 2002. Follow these simple steps:
- Complete 5 online CE modules and receive the 6th session free!
And, as long as OSRT membership is maintained, one free CE module is awarded for every 5 modules completed.

How does it work for Non-members of OSRT?
Any Ohio RT, who does not currently hold membership in OSRT, and who beginning March 1, 2002, registers and pays for 5 CE modules, will automatically earn a
FREE first-year membership in OSRT. In addition, the 6th CE module is also free! And, as long as OSRT membership is maintained,
one free CE module is awarded for every 5 modules completed
