Life Members are active members who have rendered unusual service to the Society. Life Membership is granted by a unanimous vote of the Board of Directors. Life members pay no dues and have all the obligations and privileges of an active member.
Honorary Members are those persons whom the Society desires to honor because of their demonstrated interest in and/or contributions to the Society. Honorary Membership is granted by a unanimous vote of the Board of Directors. Honorary Members pay no dues and have all the privileges and obligations of active members except the right to vote or hold office.
Nomination Process: Any OSRT active member may electronically submit an application for a nominee. The deadline for submission is January 15 each year. The Board of Directors will vote on the nominee at its January board meeting. Nominees will be notified of the outcome and the award will be presented at the Honors Banquet during the OSRT Annual Meeting. The nominee must meet the criteria listed above.
