Vision
The Ohio Society of Radiologic Technologists will improve the healthcare of Ohio's citizens assuring that patients receive
excellent medical imaging and radiation therapy care.Mission
The mission of the OSRT is to advocate the safe and appropriate use of imaging and radiotherapeutic modalities, promote
professionalism through high ethical standards, influence health policy, and provide high quality service to the membership including continuing professional development opportunities. The plan includes seven strategic
performance areas:
- Proactive influence of health policy
Professional linkages between radiologic professionals and among other health professionals and organizations.
Member services that offer information dissemination and member benefits
Provide convenient, accessible, affordable, quality approved continuing professional education.
Public Relations that promote the imaging and radiotherapeutic professions
Efficient and effective organizational operation and management accountable to the membership
Stewardship to assure organization effectiveness through prudent use of resources and dedication of continuous to improvement.
