Ohio Wins Multiple Delegate Positions in the 2011 ASRT Election

About the ASRT House of Delegates

The House of Delegates is the legislative body of the ASRT and establishes professional standards of practice. It is comprised of chapter and affiliate voting delegates, with 170 potential delegates. Of those potential delegates, 56 are chapter delegates, 108 are affiliate delegates and six are military delegates.

There are 15 chapters and each elects two ASRT members to serve as delegates and two ASRT members to serve as alternates. Delegates represent their specialty area in the House. Every year, these representatives gather at the ASRT Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting to review motions, attend chapter meetings and participate in discussions that shape the ASRT and the radiologic technology profession. Throughout the year, they also act as expert resources on behalf of the profession. Chapter delegates volunteer their time to help improve the profession.

Ohio is always well represented because of sheer dedication and passion for the profession! This year, several Ohio technologists won elected delegate positions for the 2012 House. Those elected to represent each imaging discipline include:
