“Greetings to the Imaging and Therapy professionals in the State of Ohio. I am excited to be running for the OSRT Board of Directors. I am a radiographer, and have been an educator for over twenty years. I care deeply about the people who make up this profession and the patients we are responsible for. I believe that the OSRT is vitally important to assist technologists and students, to provide educational opportunities, and to represent us around the state and the nation. I have served this organization in many capacities in the past and currently co-chair one of the committees. Please consider placing your vote for me for the OSRT Board of Directors.”

"As an OSRT Board Member, I would be an advocate for the medical imaging professional by promoting the advancement of the profession through education and growth of leaders. I would strive for a high level of professionalism and standards through education and legislation. I personally try to promote the imaging professional as a health care professional first. I have done this by being the first RT to join my local Medical Reserve Corps and being the start-up Director of my church’s Free Clinic. Imaging professionals need to take pride in the role they play in the healthcare role.”

Christine Gialousis, B.S.RT(R)(M)(CT)(MR), Berlin Center, Ohio

“I have been a member of the OSRT for a very long time. I would attend the meetings as often I could and I would always leave with a renewed passion and excitement for my chosen profession. Many radiographers do not attend meetings because of the distance, the CEU sessions, the financial obligations, or the lack of return on the membership. I would like to initiate change that would revitalize the radiographers who work in the trenches and bring them some of that excitement.”

Rhonda Strunk, RT(R)(CT), Fairfield, Ohio

“I would be honored if elected to the Board of Directors for the OSRT. I have been a Radiologic Technologist since 1983, specializing in CT since 1987. For the past eight years I have mainly focused on 3D post-processing and imaging analysis for CT and MR. I believe I would bring a lot of well-rounded experience to the board which includes working in private practice, applications and more recently in a large pediatric academic medical center. I am excited to be able to join fellow technologists in representing our profession and being able to contribute in making our state society stronger.”
