The OSRT Student Leadership Development Program Selection Committee is pleased to announce the following individuals as participants of the ASRT Leadership Development Program. The three-year program offers participants a chance to get to know the ASRT, attend educational sessions, and network with medical imaging and radiation therapy professionals. Each selected participant will be attending the ASRT Annual Governance and House of Delegates Meeting in June, 2026.
Farah Hafez is now a graduate (December 2025) of the Cuyahoga Community College Radiography Program. According to her program director, "Farah is academically an outstanding student clinically and professionally. In addition to being a stellar student and competent, compassionate patient care provider, she maintains a positive outlook, is an eager learner and contributes graciously to every team of which she is a member."
Kristina Muntifering is a student in the Radiation Therapy Program at Northern Kentucky University. "Kristina brings a strong academic and professional foundation to her studies in radiation therapy. She holds a Master of Science in Molecular Biology and spent six years working in research and scientific support, serving both as a team member and as a manager. Her contributions to the field are demonstrated through her authorship in six peer-reviewed professional journals in molecular biology. In addition to her academic achievements, Kristina has demonstrated a sincere commitment to service. She is a certified volunteer crisis counselor and served as a volunteer teaching assistant at the University of Cincinnati for one academic year."
Ilyas Nur is a prospective 2027 graduate of the radiography program at The Ohio State University. The program director indicates that "Ilyas demonstrates outstanding engagement, professionalism, and exceptional initiative. He approaches complex concepts with enthusiasm
and consistently seeks deeper understanding of radiographic principles and patient care standards. Ilyas’s diverse experiences and natural ability to connect with others make him an excellent candidate for the leadership development program." Ilyas has also been selected to serve as Student Director as a voting member of the Board of Directors for OSRT.
