Proposed amendments to Medical Radiation-Generating Equipment rules 3701:1-66-01, 3701:1-66-02, 3701:1-66-04, 3701:1-66-07, 3701:1-66-08 and 3701:1-66-10 of the Ohio Administrative Code are posted for public comment. The proposed amendments are being posted for a third public comment period after receiving comments from the January 14, 2019 public comment period. The Ohio Department of Health and Radiation-Generating Equipment Committee (REC) reviewed the public comments and revised the rules based on some of the public comments at a public meeting on April 5, 2019.

Please review the draft rules and provide any comments that you may have to the Ohio Department of Health by May 15, 2019. The website above also provides the link to submit public comments. All comments will be considered by the REC and the Ohio Department of Health, for relative changes to the proposed rules. Following this action, the rules will then move through the formal adoption process.
